I'm gonna be straight up honest--I had never known who Selena was until I watched Jennifer Lopez's movie 'Selena' and then I started doing research on her. THAT'S when I started becoming a fan. I've always been a Michael Jackson fan and he's been around way longer and done so much more for people than Selena has (though she was a great person and did a lot).

I know who Selena is, but definitely Micheal. He was just so much more of an idol than she ever was. You hear people say that MJ was a rapist, and this, and that, but its not really true. Plus those people that say stuff like that, are the ones that contradict themselves, and use his dance moves, or are singing his music. Despite all the stuff he did, or didn't do, he is still the top idol, and had way more of an effect on the country.
